This policy applies to everyone who uses Adhand, run by Ballmer Peak Applications LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. It is part of our Terms of Service. Adhand makes ads from your apps and sites using cloud devices and AI, so the rules cover both what you ask us to advertise and how you use the Service.
1. What we will not advertise
We will not record, make or export ads for an app, site or product that:
- shows or promotes sexual or adult content;
- takes real-money gambling or betting;
- sells or promotes weapons, illegal drugs or anything illegal to sell, or helps people commit crimes;
- shows or promotes hate, harassment or violence against people;
- is a scam, a fake giveaway, a fraud scheme, or pretends to be another brand;
- behaves like malware, or asks people to weaken their phone's security.
Also not allowed: ads that target or sexualise children; ads for products or services that are banned in the places you advertise; and anything else that would make our payment or infrastructure providers (including Paddle, Amazon Web Services and our AI providers) breach their rules.
When you upload an app, an automated AI check looks at its first screens against this list before anything is recorded or charged. It can make mistakes. If it refuses your app and you think that is wrong, write to support@adhand.ai and a person will look. We may also review apps, ads and chats manually when we get a report, a support case or a sign of abuse.
2. Content and rights
You must not upload, connect or ask us to create content that:
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights, including music, footage, fonts, logos, characters or another company's app, and including an app or site you do not own or have permission to test and advertise;
- uses the name, face, voice or likeness of a real person without their clear permission, including AI presenters, voices or portraits of a real person, public figures or celebrities;
- impersonates a person, company, government or Adhand, or fakes an endorsement;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or exposes someone's private information;
- includes personal data of real people (yours or your customers') in recordings, test accounts or uploads when it is not needed. Use demo data.
3. Honest advertising and AI
You are responsible for the claims in your ads (see our Terms). You must not use Adhand to make:
- false or misleading claims about your product, price, results, users, ratings, awards or competitors;
- fake testimonials, reviews, user counts or "before and after" results, including an AI presenter or voice presented as a real customer, employee, expert or doctor;
- claims about health, finance, law, jobs, housing or other regulated areas that you cannot support or that need a licence or approved wording;
- content meant to deceive people into thinking an AI-generated person, voice or scene is real, where you must disclose it by law or by the rules of the ad platform. Adhand can add an "AI-generated" or similar label when you ask for it. Use it where it is required;
- political, election or news-style content meant to mislead;
- synthetic media ("deepfakes") of a real person without permission.
4. Test accounts and the apps we run
When you give us an app to record:
- you must have the right to run it on third-party cloud phones and browsers, and to have it tested automatically;
- give us a test account with demo data, never a real person's or an administrator's account of a live system;
- do not give us credentials that open real customer data, production payment functions or anything we should not see;
- the app must not try to break out of the test device, attack the network, mine cryptocurrency, harvest data, or damage or take over anything outside the test run;
- apps behind single sign-on or two-factor login need a test account without them.
5. Protecting the Service
You must not:
- break the law, or use the Service to commit fraud or send spam;
- upload or send malware, or probe, scan or test the Service's security without our written permission;
- get around limits, caps, locks, unlocks, wallet checks or approval steps; abuse free onboarding or free allowances; create accounts or guests in bulk; or buy, spend and refund repeatedly to extract free work;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-copy the Service, its outputs, its prompts or its producer instructions, or use them to build a competing product;
- resell, sublicense or rent access to the Service, except through a workspace you administer for your own team or clients;
- share your sign-in, or let a connected tool (MCP client) act beyond what you meant it to do. You are responsible for connected tools and their spending;
- interfere with other customers, our providers or the cloud devices (for example by keeping devices busy without need);
- put a heavy load on the Service on purpose, or use it to attack others;
- try to access another workspace's data.
6. Reporting a problem
Report abuse, a copyright or other rights claim, or a security issue to support@adhand.ai. For a rights claim, see the takedown steps in our Terms of Service. For a security report, tell us what you found and how to reproduce it, and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it publicly. Good-faith security research that follows this policy will not lead to action from us.
7. What happens if you break this policy
Depending on how serious and how often, we may: refuse or stop work; remove content or links; lock an ad; suspend or end the account or workspace; withhold or reverse the wallet money for work done in breach, as the law allows; report to the authorities and our providers; and take legal action. We try to warn you first when it is reasonable, but we may act at once when a risk is serious. Refunds in those cases are handled under our Refund Policy and the law.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is on adhand.ai and the date above shows when it took effect. Significant changes will be shown in the app or sent by email.
